A wild Sunday in the NFL delivered a tie, a rout and a late comeback as Week 5's main slate played out across the United States.

In Los Angeles, the Denver Broncos scored 13 fourth-quarter points to beat the Chargers 23-17 at SoFi Stadium. New England produced the day's biggest margin, beating Las Vegas 45-17 in Foxborough, while Pittsburgh defeated Indianapolis 34-22, Minnesota stayed unbeaten with a 23-13 win in New Orleans, Houston shut down Tennessee 26-3, Green Bay beat Chicago 31-7 and the New York Jets edged Cleveland 17-12.

The strangest finish came in Landover, where the New York Giants and Washington Commanders tied 27-27 after overtime. Both teams wasted chances to win in the extra period — the Giants lost a fumble in Washington territory, and the Commanders ran out of time before they could attempt a field goal, leaving the season's first tie on the board.

Earlier, Cincinnati won 31-24 in Miami, leaving the Dolphins winless, and Jacksonville beat Philadelphia 19-17 in London. Week 5 closes Monday night with Buffalo visiting the Los Angeles Rams.
