Hart sued Shakes, alleging she breached a non-disclosure agreement by giving a tell-all interview. Shakes named Sabbag as a potential witness, arguing Hart had already damaged his own reputation — a claim that could undermine his damages case. Hart's team now wants Sabbag kept off the stand entirely.
Whether the judge allows the testimony remains undecided. Nearly a decade after the scandal first broke, Hart's legal team is fighting to keep one of the most painful chapters of his public life out of the courtroom record.
