An invitation to Ken Urker's funeral has been officially extended to Gypsy Rose Blanchard, TMZ reported early Tuesday. Family sources told the outlet that Urker's family invited Blanchard to attend his service in Texas — where he was from — once arrangements are made. The sources added that despite his sister Autumn's public disdain for Blanchard, she has a good relationship with the rest of Urker's family.
Urker, 34, was found dead on Oct. 1 — his 34th birthday — at his home in Louisiana. The cause of death remains undetermined pending toxicology results; authorities have confirmed there was no gunshot wound, and the investigation into his final hours continues.
On Saturday, Blanchard attended a private casket viewing at a Louisiana funeral home alongside their 21-month-old daughter, Aurora Raina Urker. Family sources told TMZ she wore a black dress and the necklace Urker had given her to mark their second anniversary, and that she was given time alone to say goodbye. The following day, Blanchard joined Urker's relatives for lunch at an IHOP, where the group exchanged memories and stories about him. Urker's mother, Raina, his brother and two of his sisters attended the viewing; Autumn reportedly did not.
Blanchard and Urker first became engaged in 2018, while she was serving a prison sentence for her role in the 2015 killing of her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard. They reconnected in 2024 after her split from Ryan Anderson, and welcomed their daughter Aurora on Dec. 28, 2024. Since Urker's death, Blanchard has called him an “amazing father” and, in an Instagram tribute, her “greatest love story.”
