NotJustOk refreshed its Best New Music list for the week of October 5, 2026, and BNXN's 'Still In Charge' debuts at number one. Blaqbonez and Asake's 'IKEBE 3000' takes second, followed by Mr P's 'Chukwu Mme,' Mr Eazi and MOLIY's 'Comfort,' and DJ Tunez and Terry Apala's 'Apala Groove' to round out the top five.
The rest of the top ten features Lojay's 'Money Lingo,' Young Jonn's 'Dear London,' Tiakola and Rema's 'Best,' Ayo Maff and Zinoleesky's 'Malaria,' and Niniola's 'Tika' — a chart blending street-pop, amapiano and alté sounds from Nigeria's biggest names and its fast risers.
It's also been a busy week off the charts: Zinoleesky launched his own record label and signed his first artist, Tems and Runtown headlined Spotify's first Surround Sound shows in Lagos, and BNXN confirmed the title and release date of a new EP. The chart refresh confirms Afrobeats' weekly release cycle is showing no signs of slowing into the year's final quarter.
