Ella Langley pulled the plug on her Friday night concert in Tulsa after what her team described as a serious security threat involving the singer, her fans, and venue staff. The show, scheduled for the BOK Center, was called off ahead of showtime.
According to her team, the venue and her management concluded that proceeding would not be safe, and local authorities along with her security team advised that canceling was the right call. Safety of everyone in the building was cited as the top priority in the decision.
Langley herself addressed the cancellation, saying she refused to put anyone in harm's way and would not risk the safety of her fans or crew. The country star, who has been riding a wave of chart success and packed houses on tour, made clear the threat left her with no acceptable choice.
No details about the nature of the threat have been released. It was not immediately announced whether the Tulsa date would be rescheduled.
