Seyi Vibez is on a chart-topping tear. His single "Back 2 U" climbed to No. 1 on the Apple Music Nigeria Top Songs chart for the first time this week, the fourth track from his "SWAGUU" project to reach the summit after "GTA," "Ilome" and "Alafia," TooXclusive reported Thursday.

The milestone caps a dominant week for Nigerian music on the charts. Blaqbonez and Asake's "IKEBE 3000," released October 2, also reached No. 1 on the same Apple Music Nigeria chart — matching the peak of their earlier 2026 collaboration "Chanel," which debuted at No. 1 on Nigeria's Official Top 100 with 7.17 million on-demand streams in its opening week.

The chart week of October 5–11 confirms Afrobeats' continued commercial grip: homegrown stars are not just competing with global hits on Nigerian streaming charts, they are defining them.

With "Back 2 U" joining the No. 1 club, Seyi Vibez now has one of the strongest chart runs of any Nigerian artist this year — and the "SWAGUU" era shows no signs of slowing down.
