Aerosmith is coming back. The legendary rock band announced Thursday it will return to the stage with two concerts at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on October 29 and November 1, billed alongside a lineup of famous friends.

The announced guests read like a rock hall of fame: the Black Crowes, Run-D.M.C., Heart, Billy Idol, Chad Smith of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Duff McKagan of Guns N' Roses, Eric Church, Sammy Hagar, Slash, Steve Stevens, Tom Morello and Jerry Cantrell, with Don Was as music director and more names to be announced.

Promotional photography depicts Steven Tyler, Joe Perry, Brad Whitford, Tom Hamilton and Joey Kramer — marking Kramer's return after he sat out the band's most recent tour — a reunion moment longtime fans have been waiting for.

Presales begin October 8, with the general on-sale set for October 10. Given the all-star billing and the Bowl's 17,500-seat capacity, both nights are expected to move fast.
