Regina Hall is heading to the North Pole. The actress has joined the cast of Naughty, Universal's Christmas comedy starring Jennifer Aniston and Peter Dinklage and directed by Olivia Wilde, according to reports published Thursday.
Aniston plays Mallory, a woman whose custody case takes an extraordinary turn: to win it, she must track down Santa Claus himself — played by Dinklage — and persuade him to testify in her divorce hearing. Hall is set to play a friend who joins Mallory on the trip north.
Hall arrives on a hot streak. She is coming off an Oscar-winning turn in One Battle After Another and a starring role in Peacock's The Five-Star Weekend, reported to be the streamer's top scripted title of all time.
Naughty is slated for a theatrical release on November 5, 2027, positioning it as Universal's big holiday-season comedy play more than a year out. With Wilde directing and a cast stacking up this quickly, it is already one of the most closely watched comedies on the calendar.
