TORONTO — Visitors planning a Wednesday afternoon at the CN Tower will need to adjust. The landmark's operator says the Main Observation Level will be unavailable on Wednesday, October 21, from 2:30 p.m. until closing, while the rest of the tower stays open.

The Lower Observation Level and The Top will remain available for purchase on site during the restriction, and the 360 Restaurant remains open. The notice also records partial restrictions on the Main Observation Level on October 20 and on October 27, November 3 and November 6, although the October 21 entry is the clearest full-level closure in the current period.

The tower remains usable on Wednesday — the principal viewing deck is simply not part of the visit from mid-afternoon onward. Travellers with timed tickets for later in the day should check the operator's notice before setting out, and anyone set on the main deck views can aim for the morning or use the lower level and The Top instead.

The CN Tower is one of downtown Toronto's defining visitor draws, and mid-October is still a busy shoulder-season period for the attraction, between the summer peak and the holiday crowds.
