California Attorney General Rob Bonta scheduled a press conference in Los Angeles on Tuesday, October 13, focused on the security of voting by mail, according to his office.

Bonta was expected to point voters to next Monday’s deadline to register online and to urge anyone voting by mail to return their ballot at least a week before Election Day.

His office also planned to highlight a state justice department publication on voting access for people with disabilities.

The event was livestreamed on the California Department of Justice homepage, with the exact location shared with media after they registered to attend.
