Sean "Diddy" Combs was transferred on Friday from the federal correctional institution at Fort Dix, New Jersey, to FCI Allenwood Low in Pennsylvania, according to TMZ, which said the Bureau of Prisons confirmed the move without giving a reason. The Associated Press attributed the transfer to a person familiar with the matter.

Both facilities are low-security, but they differ in scale: Allenwood Low holds roughly 1,000 inmates, compared with about 4,000 at Fort Dix. The move follows an NBC News report last month alleging Combs received luxury treatment at Fort Dix, including a contraband phone, alcohol, massages and meals cooked by fellow inmates.

Combs was also taken to hospital on Oct. 10 with a head injury; the Bureau of Prisons and his family denied claims he had been in a prison fight. TMZ has reported a series of disciplinary write-ups for the music mogul, including phone violations and fights, two stays in the special housing unit, and the loss of 41 days of good-time credit and 400 days of commissary privileges, pushing his projected release from Jan. 21, 2028, to March 2, 2028.

Combs is serving a 50-month sentence - four years and two months - after being convicted on two prostitution-related transportation charges; he was acquitted of sex trafficking and racketeering. His spokesperson, Juda Engelmayer, has said placement decisions rest with the Bureau of Prisons.
