Charli XCX delivered a surprise moment during her Friday night headlining set at Austin City Limits, bringing out Tinashe for a guest appearance that sent the Zilker Park crowd into a frenzy. Tinashe performed live debuts of "Nobody Wanna Dance Anymore" and "Melatonin" from her new album Popstar.
The collaboration continues a decade-long musical history between the two artists, stretching back to 2015's "Drop That Kitty" and Tinashe's feature on the remix of Charli's "B2B."
The ACL appearance doubles as a promotional boost for Popstar, which recently debuted at No. 6 on the Billboard 200 — Tinashe's first-ever top-10 album.
Fans at the festival captured the moment on social media, with many calling it one of the standout sets of the weekend's opening night.
