WestJet is leaning into fall travel demand with a seat sale that puts one-way fares as low as $53 on select domestic routes across Canada. The Calgary-based carrier, the country's second-largest airline, says the lowest prices apply to its UltraBasic tier.
The promotion also takes up to 15 per cent off Econo base fares on select routes. Bookings must be made by October 15, 2026, for travel running from late October 2026 through January 20, 2027.
The cheapest seats come with trade-offs travellers know well by now: UltraBasic fares are restrictive on changes and extras, so the headline price rewards flexibility on dates and a light packing list.
Airlines routinely use autumn sales to fill seats in the quieter stretch between Thanksgiving and the winter holidays. For Canadians eyeing a winter trip, the sale window is short — it closes October 15.
