President Donald Trump issued a fresh warning to Yemen's Houthi movement on Tuesday, days after missile and drone attacks on Riyadh's King Khalid International Airport killed at least 13 people, including an American citizen, and wounded more than 300.

Speaking with reporters, Trump said the Iran-aligned group was behaving very badly and needed to stop its attacks. He said he had spoken with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman about the strikes on the kingdom.

Asked whether he would ask Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to help strike the Houthis, Trump said he might do it, adding that he believes Erdogan would do as he asks. No request has been made, and Turkey has not agreed to any offensive role.

Saudi Arabia has carried out its own strikes in Yemen, including against oil facilities, since the airport attack. Washington has so far provided support to Riyadh without committing U.S. forces to offensive operations against the Houthis, and Secretary of State Marco Rubio has condemned the airport attack as a disregard for civilian life.
