Wall Street's earnings week opens with a management showcase in New York. Jefferies Financial Group is hosting its annual Investor Day on Monday, October 19, beginning at 9 a.m. in Manhattan, with the meeting also carried virtually for registered participants.
The programme includes management presentations from Chief Executive Rich Handler and President Brian Friedman, along with leaders of the firm's businesses, and an opportunity for investors to put questions to the team. Registration, through the firm's investor meeting page, closed at 6 p.m. Eastern on Friday, October 16.
Jefferies describes itself as one of the world's leading full-service investment banking and capital markets firms, serving public and private companies and their sponsors, institutional investors and government entities.
The New York gathering lands at the start of a heavy week for U.S. corporate results, with investors watching bank and brokerage commentary on dealmaking, trading volumes and the outlook for capital markets activity into year-end.
