The race to lead Mississauga entered its final stretch this week as the city's four main mayoral candidates faced off in a last debate held before a packed audience of hundreds of residents.
CP24 reporter Sijia Nelson covered the evening, which gave voters a final side-by-side look at the contenders before they cast their ballots in the municipal contest.
Mississauga is one of the largest cities in the Greater Toronto Area, and its mayoral race draws attention well beyond its borders because of the city's size, its Pearson airport economy and its close ties to Toronto commuters and businesses.
With the final debate now complete, campaigns are turning to getting supporters to the polls. OTMedia will follow the result and what it means for the wider Toronto region.
