Tems is coming home. The Grammy-winning Nigerian star has announced a Lagos concert on December 20 at the Livespot Enterarena, a homecoming that promoters say is her first major solo headline show in Nigeria in five years.
The date is part of her Love Is a Kingdom tour, named for her recent project, and lands in the heart of Detty December — the festive-season window when Lagos becomes the global capital of Afrobeats parties and diaspora homecomings.
Tems' rise from Lagos alté scene to global stages has included an Oscar nomination, Grammy wins and collaborations with Wizkid, Drake and Beyoncé, but large solo shows at home have been rare, making this announcement a genuine event for Nigerian fans.
Ticket details are being rolled out by the promoters, Livespot and NotJustOk, and demand is expected to be intense given the five-year gap and the December timing.
For the Afrobeats calendar, it is a fitting finale to the year: one of the genre's biggest exports closing 2026 on a Lagos stage.
