Insider buying at building-materials distributor SIG plc is among the disclosed transactions on Wednesday's watch lists, after director Simon Kesterton purchased another 100,000 shares of the company.
The transaction, dated Tuesday, October 13, was executed at an average price of 9p per share, for a total of about £9,000. Kesterton had also acquired 200,000 shares on October 2 at the same average price, according to the filing summary.
SIG shares traded up about 0.2 per cent on Wednesday to 9p, giving the London-listed company a market capitalisation of roughly £104 million. Insider purchases are watched by investors as one signal among many, and a single small disclosed trade is not, on its own, a guide to future performance.
Elsewhere on Wednesday's screens, the highest dollar-volume financial names on U.S. watch lists included Bank of America, JPMorgan, Robinhood, Visa, Mastercard, Morgan Stanley and Wells Fargo.
