NFL Week 6 delivered a Sunday slate short on shootouts and long on statements. The Green Bay Packers beat the Dallas Cowboys 23-13, while the Kansas City Chiefs handled the Los Angeles Chargers 22-6 in the day's two marquee results.
Elsewhere, Buffalo edged Las Vegas 33-30 in the week's highest-scoring finish, Arizona slipped past the Los Angeles Rams 18-16, and Chicago beat Atlanta 31-23. Cleveland ground out a 13-10 win over Baltimore, Tennessee topped Indianapolis 26-20, New England beat the New York Jets 26-19 and New Orleans outlasted the New York Giants 34-27.
The week is not finished. Washington visits San Francisco on Monday Night Football (8:15 p.m. ET), a matchup with early playoff-positioning weight for both clubs and the last word on a week that tightened several division races.
Hockey shared the Monday spotlight north of the border, with San Jose visiting the Toronto Maple Leafs at 7:30 p.m. ET among four NHL games on the night, after Calgary's 3-2 win over Carolina and Minnesota's 2-1 defeat of Columbus on Sunday.
