Afrobeats continues to hold its ground on global streaming charts this week, led by a reunion six years in the making: Bella Shmurda and Olamide's "Ara (600M)" pulled 2,360,664 streams, their first joint effort since 2020's Triumphant.

FOLA's "Fine $hit" follows with 2,307,293 streams, drawing 71.8 per cent of its plays from Nigeria alongside meaningful audiences in the US (8.4 per cent) and the UK (4 per cent). Ayo Maff's "Attack" (1,616,151) and Teni and Olamide's "Zion" (1,567,178) round out the top tier.

In South Africa, Tyla's "Chanel" remains untouchable — No. 1 on the country's daily chart for a 93rd day, extending one of the longest-running chart reigns in recent memory.

The numbers underline a familiar pattern: Nigeria's street-pop engine and South Africa's amapiano wave are now twin pillars of African music's global streaming footprint.
