Miami's founder community got a dedicated session this month. The American Industry and Innovation Research Institute convened entrepreneurs and specialists at Florida International University's Biscayne Bay Campus on October 7.
The program, reported in an October 13 release, covered business leadership, cybersecurity and community development, with presentations and interactive discussions on protecting operations, leading through uncertainty and entering new markets.
The session is part of America's National Initiative for Knowledge, Innovation and Economic Development, an institute-led effort to widen access to research, education and practical resources for business owners.
Organizers say the initiative is designed to help founders build more resilient companies and contribute to longer-term economic development in their communities.
