Paris's cybersecurity scene has a new funded contender. Fleuret AI, founded this year by CEO Yanis Grigy and CTO Augustin Ponsin, has closed a €4 million pre-Seed round led by RAISE Ventures to turn one-off penetration tests into continuous, AI-driven offensive security.
The round drew Auriga Cyber Ventures, Wind Capital and Better Angle, plus a roster of French cyber veterans writing angel checks — Stoïk CEO Jules Veyrat, GitGuardian CEO Eric Fourrier, Vade co-founder Georges Lotigier, and Almond co-founders Olivier Pantaleo and Jean-François Aliotti.
Fleuret's pitch is to automate the pentester's workflow with two AI agents, dubbed Emile and Champollion. They map a company's environment, probe applications, APIs and infrastructure, attempt real exploits, and attach proof-of-compromise evidence to every finding — then keep watch continuously, automatically re-testing as systems change rather than delivering a static annual report.
The roughly 10-person startup already counts Brevo, Stoïk and Yogosha among early customers, and it is leaning into a sovereign-European positioning as NIS2 compliance pressure pushes the continent's companies toward deeper security validation. AI agents that attack your systems before the real adversaries do: if Fleuret's bet pays off, the annual pentest as we know it may be on borrowed time.
