Stefon Diggs is pushing back in court. TMZ reported on October 15 that the Washington Commanders wide receiver said in recently filed documents that the man suing him has provided no proof that Diggs instructed others to assault him.

The plaintiff, Nigel King, says he worked as a concierge for wealthy clients including Diggs, and that he helped coordinate sending the player's Ferrari from Miami to New York in July 2024.

King is suing for defamation, and the December 2025 incident described in the filings is disputed. Diggs' position, as reported, is that the coordination claim is unsupported.

The case is a civil dispute and remains before the courts. No findings have been made on the allegations.
