Australian model and swimwear designer Sahara Ray has died at 34, her family confirmed on Monday. "She passed away last night surrounded by family at the hospital. She was so loved," the family said.
No cause of death has been disclosed. Ray had revealed a 2024 diagnosis of Guillain-Barré syndrome, a condition in which the immune system attacks the nerves, and she used a wheelchair for a period after a car accident the same year.
Ray welcomed her daughter, Snow, on January 27, 2026. Her last Instagram post, in July, was a carousel of photos of the baby captioned "My whole heart baby Snow."
The daughter of iconic surfer Tony Ray, she rose to wide attention after a 2016 vacation in Hawaii with Justin Bieber, and was also linked over the years to Cody Simpson and Mod Sun. She built her own brand, Sahara Ray Swim, and had nearly 900,000 Instagram followers.
