Carole Radziwill has responded to an unflattering front page the way few celebrities do: by promising to buy every copy. The New York Post's Friday cover cited public records linking the former Real Housewives of New York star's vehicle to about 83 traffic and parking violations over roughly four years, totalling close to $8,000 in fines.
The tally included 17 tickets for failing to move during alternate-side parking. Photos published by the Post showed Con Edison traffic cones in her SUV and an expired FDNY uniformed officers' association placard on the dashboard; the paper said it could not confirm how she obtained them, and she did not respond to its request for comment on that point.
Radziwill herself was anything but silent. She posted that she was thrilled to be on the cover, told the Post she has 'paid every dollar' of the tickets, and said her family had bought out copies in Rockland County to make wallpaper of the page. Her first call, she said, was to Andy Cohen.
She conceded the cone manoeuvre is 'a bit of a no-no,' while suggesting New Yorkers understood the parking struggle — a defence calibrated for a city where alternate-side parking is a twice-weekly ritual.
The story, originally published October 16 and updated overnight, has become the weekend's unlikely entertainment talking point: a parking-ticket rap sheet, treated by its subject as a career honour.
