TORONTO — English singer-songwriter dodie is bringing one of the fall's most unusual concert concepts to Toronto: a full-album performance of her record Not for Lack of Trying, accompanied by two clarinets she recorded on every song.

The tour, dubbed Not for Lack of Clarinets, celebrates one year of her sophomore album. A deluxe edition of the record — including two new songs and four live sessions recorded at Middle Farm — arrives October 23 and is available to pre-order now.

The tour begins in Edinburgh on October 24 and crosses the Atlantic after a handful of UK and US dates. Toronto gets two performances in one night at the Drake Underground on November 11, an early show and a late show, in one of the city's smallest and most intimate rooms — a sharp contrast to the arena circuit.

The itinerary also includes London's Earth Theatre on October 26, early and late shows at Los Angeles' Blue Note on November 8, Chicago's Den Theater on November 10, and two Blue Note shows in New York on November 12.
