LONDON — Twenty years after Back to Black turned Amy Winehouse into a global name, the musicians who played behind her are taking the album back on the road.

The Amy Winehouse Band — her original band, led by long-time musical director and bass player Dale Davis and featuring members who toured and recorded with her — launches its anniversary tour at York Barbican on Thursday, October 22. The night before, the group plays a special one-off performance of the album in full at the Roundhouse in London, with Mark Ronson and guests.

“It's still an honour, pleasure and privilege to be performing these songs, from this timeless classic,” Davis said. The anniversary run follows a sold-out UK tour in 2025 and stretches to more than 50 dates into 2027.

Back to Black, released in October 2006, became one of the best-selling British albums of its era. For London audiences, the Roundhouse show is the centrepiece: the album performed start to finish, in the city where Winehouse's career began, by the band that was with her from her earliest pub gigs.
