Toronto fans who missed out the first time are getting a second chance. Damien Rice has added a second night at Massey Hall on May 15, 2027, to his world tour marking the 25th anniversary of his debut album ‘O’, Exclaim! reported in an update on Wednesday afternoon, citing overwhelming demand.

The added date follows the tour’s original single Canadian stop at Massey Hall on May 14. Live Nation Ontario confirmed the second show on social media, announcing that tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. General sale for the tour opens Friday, October 23 at 10 a.m. local time, preceded by presales on Thursday, October 22.

Rice’s anniversary run begins in Australia on February 9 in Melbourne and travels through Asia, Europe and the UK before closing in North America, wrapping up in New York on May 21. Toronto now gets two of the final North American nights.

For Massey Hall, the booking continues a pattern of heritage acts extending anniversary runs in Toronto after quick sell-through — and for fans, the practical detail is the on-sale: Friday, 10 a.m., with the Thursday presale the earlier window.
