Monday's watch list starts with the analyst screens. Zacks named three growth stocks for October 19: Valero Energy, whose current-year earnings consensus has risen 27.5% over the last 60 days with a PEG ratio of 0.29 against an industry 0.32; Sendas Distribuidora, up 3.2% on consensus with a PEG of 0.18; and EOG Resources, up 7.8% on consensus with a PEG of 0.57. All three carry a Zacks Rank #1 (Strong Buy) in the screen.
On the value side, Zacks flagged Versant Media Group at a price-to-earnings ratio of 7.76 versus 15 for its industry, alongside Sendas at 9.71 versus 11.50 and EOG at 9.04 versus 12.40. The lists are screening output based on estimate revisions and valuation ratios — a starting point for research, not a recommendation.
Insider filings tell their own story. Recent Form 4 disclosures compiled from SEC data show director Ramin Kamfar buying $5.5 million of Bluerock Private Real Estate Fund shares on October 14, and Tether Global Investments Fund, a 10% owner, buying $2.7 million of Gold.com, Inc. on the same day. Smaller disclosed buys included Saba Capital positions across several closed-end funds.
