President Donald Trump headlines a midterm campaign rally Wednesday night at the Freeman Coliseum in San Antonio, Texas, as his midterm blitz rolls into its latest stop.

Doors open at 2:30 p.m. local time with the keynote expected around 6 p.m., according to the RNC advisory. Texas Attorney General and Senate candidate Ken Paxton is among the expected guests.

The San Antonio stop follows an Oct. 2 rally in Mobile, Alabama, that drew about 8,000 supporters, where Trump promised $5,000 checks if Republicans keep Congress and said the Iran war would end “one way or another” soon after the midterms.

The rally lands against a difficult polling backdrop: the Nov. 3 midterms are less than a month away, a new AP-NORC poll puts approval of his handling of the economy at just 26%, and the G7 has agreed to release 100 million barrels of oil and diesel as fuel prices hit record highs.
