The Tampa Bay Rays are headed to the American League Championship Series. A 4-3 win over the New York Yankees in Game 3 on Wednesday night at Yankee Stadium completed a stunning 3-0 ALDS sweep and ended the Bronx Bombers' season.

The pivotal moment came in the sixth inning, when Anthony Volpe's would-be tying two-run homer was overturned for fan interference — a call that deflated the home crowd and preserved Tampa Bay's lead. Yankees ace Max Fried took the Game 3 loss for New York.

Rays star Junior Caminero, who hit 42 home runs this season, rubbed it in with a sweeping gesture and Steph Curry's famous "night night" celebration, shouting "Sweep! The Yankees lose!" as Tampa Bay closed out the series.

The Rays now await the winner of the White Sox–Guardians series, with Game 4 set for Thursday night in Chicago, before the ALCS begins Monday.
