The Cleveland Guardians are headed home for a winner-take-all Game 5 after stunning the Chicago White Sox 9-5 in Game 4 of the American League Division Series on Thursday night.
Cleveland batted around in a six-run sixth inning, sending 10 men to the plate. José Ramírez homered and drove in three runs, Patrick Bailey added a pinch-hit homer, and Jo Adell delivered a two-run single to seal it.
Remarkably, the road team has now won all four games in the series. The Guardians are chasing the first comeback from an 0-2 deficit in a best-of-five since the 2017 Yankees.
The decisive Game 5 goes Saturday in Cleveland, with the winner advancing to face the Tampa Bay Rays in the AL Championship Series starting Monday.
