LOS ANGELES — The strangest performance at SoFi Stadium on Wednesday night may have happened outside it. A naked man brawled outside Kanye West's first SoFi Stadium show, in a surreal scene captured on TMZ footage and circulated as fans streamed toward the Inglewood venue.
The footage, reported by TMZ and picked up across entertainment outlets, shows the altercation unfolding in public view of concertgoers — the kind of pre-show chaos that travels faster online than anything that happens on stage, and that venue security teams dread on a sold-out stadium night.
West's SoFi date is one of the marquee Los Angeles shows of the fall, in a stadium that has become the city's default mega-venue since opening in Inglewood. Big-ticket stadium nights there regularly draw tens of thousands of fans — and, occasionally, the sideshows that come with a crowd that size.
No official word on injuries or arrests accompanied the first reports of the brawl. For the audience inside, the show went on; for everyone who saw the clip first, the fight outside became the night's unwanted opening act.
