LOS ANGELES — Tom Jones's fall run through North America hits two of its marquee rooms this week. The Welsh singer plays Wynn Las Vegas on Wednesday, October 21, the first of three Wynn dates (October 21, 23 and 24), before heading to Los Angeles for a concert at the Greek Theatre on Monday, October 26.
The dates sit near the end of the "Come Gather Round" North American tour, which opened in September in Highland Park, Illinois, and has wound through Milwaukee, Windsor, New York's Beacon Theatre, Niagara Falls, Nashville's Ryman Auditorium, Clearwater and New Orleans. After Los Angeles, the run closes with San Diego-area, Highland and Wheatland dates before a final San Francisco show on November 1.
The North American leg followed a summer European stretch that included a London date at Crystal Palace Bowl on August 5, along with stops in Dublin, Belfast and Chester. The tour's routing — theatres and casinos rather than arenas — has kept Jones in the intimate rooms where his catalogue of six decades of hits plays closest to the crowd.
Tickets for the Las Vegas and Los Angeles dates are sold through the venues and official tour channels. Fans are advised to check the Wynn and Greek Theatre event pages for final availability, as the three-night Wynn stand and the single Greek Theatre date are among the tour's most in-demand stops.
